The Statesville Police Department is investigating an armed home invasion – it happened in the 400 block of East Sharpe Street Tuesday night. Police say the unknown individuals knocked, but then kicked in the door. One fought with a victim while the other forced a second victim to hand-over her purse at gunpoint.
